It is very important to listen to jazz with emotions rather than intellect as jazz music does not evolve any intellect. Jazz music is based on experience and human approach. The people who make jazz or people who follow it are considered to be the artistic group of people. Those people are observed to have a critical an intense approach towards different aspects of life. Considering the intensity of art involved in jazz music, it is a very alarming situation that in contemporary people are not likely to listen or like this music. Very strong and disturbing statements are used for jazz by youngsters these days, some consider is boring, some feel sleepy and others cannot understand it. People are more attracted towards the fast and meaningless beats of music like rap, hip hop, hardcore punk, trance, house music and many others. They are not able to grasp the art hidden inside the music nor can they relate to jazz music in anyway as the music signifies calmness, politeness and humbleness. These are the major things which young generation lack these days. The types of jazz include cool jazz, hard bop, modal jazz, free jazz, Latin jazz, post bop, soul jazz and many others. All the types of jazz consist of intriguing meaning and art located inside it.
